Working Towards a Brighter Future
About Anderson County Medical Society (ACMS)
The Anderson County Medical Society (ACMS) is dedicated to fostering connection, collaboration, and continued learning among physicians and surgeons serving Anderson County and the surrounding communities.
ACMS hosts monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month, providing a welcoming and relaxed environment where medical professionals can step away from the demands of their busy clinical lives. Each meeting includes dinner, drinks, and a high-quality Continuing Medical Education (CME) lecture, allowing members to earn CME credit while engaging in meaningful professional and social interaction.
In today’s fast-paced healthcare environment, finding time to unwind and connect with colleagues is essential. ACMS meetings offer a unique opportunity to recharge, share experiences, and build relationships in a collegial atmosphere—without the pressure of the workplace.
Our gatherings also serve as an excellent platform to meet community physicians you may not encounter in daily practice, helping put a face to the names of colleagues you consult with or speak to over the phone. These connections strengthen professional collaboration and ultimately enhance patient care across our community.
At ACMS, we believe that strong professional relationships, ongoing education, and a sense of community are vital to sustaining a fulfilling medical career. We welcome physicians and surgeons at all stages of practice to join us and be part of a supportive, engaged medical community in Anderson County.
